Some of those roofing guys’ talk in unknown terms and I feel overwhelmed just listening to them.
Not all people are great communicators. No surprise there. But for those of us who are better at communications, we have a leg up on those that do not. Roofing is not rocket science, but it is exacting. It stands to reason that if our company can explain to you in better more understandable terms those roofing issues that you are facing, then you are in position to make a more informed decision. That is to your benefit. We have the experience and knowledge that is the foundation of our communication with you.
Is Permanent Roof insured and licensed?
Yes. Permanent Roof is insured and licensed.
How long will my project take?
Many factors will determine the length of your project including weather conditions, type of material being used, etc. After an estimate is completed, we will be able to give you an idea about how long your project will take.
Do I need to be present when Permanent Roof is working on my roof?
No. As a matter of fact many people prefer to not be around when the hammering starts! We do not need access to the inside of your home or business.
Should my family or employees be concerned with falling roof debris?
Safety is always an issue. Employees and family members should always be aware of their surroundings during any construction project. Every situation requires different safety measures. Permanent Roof will go over any safety concerns you may have and will advise on any problems or situations that may arise concerning safety.
Do I need to be home to obtain an estimate?
No. Permanent Roof, like most roofing companies, will obtain the necessary measurements and inspections from outside the home. However, meeting with a representative from Permanent Roof is highly recommended. This allows us to discuss your specific goals in obtaining a new roof or repair.
Do I need to protect items inside my house for possible damage?
Yes. On all roofing jobs there is a degree of vibration, which comes down through the framework of the home or business. While it is not necessary to panic, we recommended you safeguard any fragile items such as glass globes on chandeliers, framed pictures that might not be securely mounted to the wall. Items in cabinets shouldn’t be affected, but if in doubt, take a few moments to protect any non-replaceable items that you feel might get damaged.
Should I be concerned about discarded nails and other debris around my home or business that could possibly hurt someone?
What often separates roofing companies is the quality of the site clean up at the end of the job. Permanent Roof takes a particular interest in ensuring that all job sites are completely clean from nails and debris. We accomplish this by cleaning out the gutter system and doing a thorough cleaning of the grounds and landscaping around the perimeter of the home or business.
